Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain vendor/client relationships
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and improve accounting controls and processes
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audit and tax season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (including pivot tables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
