Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios including AR/AP, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow) with attention to detail
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems for data accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals and CFOs for strategic financial planning
- Train junior bookkeepers and improve departmental workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing complex payroll and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify financial discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Experience with construction or agricultural accounting a major plus
