In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing for a diverse workforce. You will work closely with HR and Finance leadership to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations while optimizing payroll operations.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns (941, state returns) and handle tax reconciliation and year-end filings.
- Administer employee benefits deductions and ensure accurate data entry into HRIS and payroll software.
- Conduct regular payroll audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax documents (W-2s), and payroll deductions with professionalism.
- Collaborate with HR to update employee information and maintain payroll records.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a high-volume or multi-state environment.
- Proficiency with payroll software (ADP Workforce Now, Paychex, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and other relevant payroll laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality.
