Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-volume client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/reconciliation and multi-state payroll processing
- Coordinate annual tax preparation documentation with CPA partners
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with 48-hour turnaround deadlines
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on advanced accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel with advanced formulas
- Proven track record of managing multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial presentations
- Experience with forensic accounting and fraud detection protocols
