Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights into financial trends and variances.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
