Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and accuracy.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll and manage employee timekeeping systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Assist with annual tax preparation and filing.
- Reconcile credit card statements and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist the Finance Manager with budget analysis and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
