Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Prepare month-end closing reports and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Lead implementation of cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks Online)
- Manage sales tax filings and payroll coordination
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA preferred)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with sales tax compliance across multiple states
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience implementing accounting software migrations
