Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing transactions while adhering to strict banking regulations and security protocols.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional environment for all customers, resolving inquiries and offering solutions to meet their financial needs.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend our range of financial products, including savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to enhance customer value.
- Branch Operations: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the teller line and lobby, ensuring a smooth operational flow during peak hours.
- Compliance: Verify customer identity in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in cash handling, retail sales, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong math aptitude and attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse clientele.
