Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients across retail, tech, and nonprofit sectors
- Prepare month-end/year-end financial statements with variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Implement QuickBooks Online optimization strategies for client efficiency
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during compliance cycles
- Maintain organized digital filing systems in compliance with GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (MN and FL)
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
