Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and annual tax filings.
- Perform monthly payroll processing for the organization.
- Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts.
- Assist external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
