Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and quarterly reports
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Implement and improve accounting systems/processes
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Texas Sales Tax Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Proven track record with multi-currency transactions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a plus
