Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, P&L reports, and cash flow analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with strict attention to deadlines
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly/annual audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Expertise in GAAP principles and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with payroll processing (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
