Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Oversee tax compliance filings and quarterly reporting
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax seasons

Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables/vlookups
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- CPA or QuickBooks certification (strongly preferred)
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
