Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Assist clients during quarterly tax preparation with CPA firms
- Generate custom financial reports for business decision-making
- Train clients on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
