Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process AP/AR transactions and manage cash flow reporting
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) for 15+ clients
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies for diverse industries
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and year-end closes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Ohio payroll tax certification (PTIN) preferred
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with construction or manufacturing industries a plus
