Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with tax preparers for quarterly filings and year-end documentation
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Maintain accurate job costing data for construction and service-based clients
- Train junior bookkeepers on firm-specific software and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven expertise in multi-state tax compliance (CA, NV, OR)
- Experience with construction bookkeeping methods and job costing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate financial insights clearly
