Responsibilities
- Execute accurate weekend month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare weekend financial reports and variance analyses for client reviews
- Manage weekend payroll processing for multiple client businesses
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Support weekend audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with weekday accounting team for seamless workflow transition
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts required)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
