Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize accounting processes using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific requirements
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with SaaS companies
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven track record of managing multi-currency transactions and sales tax compliance
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with automated reconciliation tools (e.g., AutoReconcile)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and error prevention
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
