Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledgers for 15+ clients
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and tax documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for client portfolios
- Conduct financial audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs on year-end closing procedures
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Expertise in multi-state tax regulations
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
