Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including profit/loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate with CPAs during quarterly/annual tax preparation and audits
- Implement and maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documentation
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve client profitability
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
- Familiarity with sales tax filings and payroll processing (ADP experience a plus)
