Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank transactions accurately
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Manage tax filings and documentation for multiple entities
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks/Xero)
- Conduct financial audits and internal controls assessment
- Collaborate with CFOs and external auditors during reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, payroll tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven experience managing financial reporting for multiple clients
- Certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) highly desirable
