Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage VAT submissions and HMRC compliance requirements
- Oversee payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Support audits and implement internal control improvements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (3+ years)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with data analysis capabilities
- AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience
