Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll coordination
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for client reviews
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and improve accounting systems for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Manage client communication regarding financial inquiries
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax laws
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and payroll processing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
