Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity general ledger accounts with 100% accuracy
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements for diverse business structures
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees using ADP systems
- Implement and optimize accounting software integrations (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/FASB standards
- Lead month-end close process with strict deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and sales filings
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates under 0.5%
- Proven ability to manage confidential financial data
- Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and reconciliation
