Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with FL labor laws
- Assist with sales tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain organized digital financial records and backup systems
- Collaborate with CPAs for tax preparation and strategic planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Florida sales tax certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven experience with multi-client portfolio management
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with construction or service industry accounting a plus
