Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end filings
- Implement process improvements for financial data accuracy
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and software usage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Expertise in payroll processing and multi-state compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with non-profit accounting a plus
