Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile bank accounts
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Assist with tax preparation and financial audits
- Implement efficient bookkeeping systems for small businesses
- Provide financial insights to clients during quarterly reviews
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
- Strong understanding of sales tax filing (CA BOE)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
