Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports including balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial analysis and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with full-cycle accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance and payroll processing
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to numerical accuracy
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion
