Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Prepare financial statements and monthly performance reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly/annual audits
- Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Enterprise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Enterprise certification required
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting
- Texas sales & use tax compliance knowledge
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in high-volume environment
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
