Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Implement financial controls and process improvements for operational efficiency
- Lead training sessions for junior accounting staff on software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot table and VBA experience
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and Massachusetts tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-client accounting portfolios
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
