Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts with precision
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and collections
- Assist with tax preparation and audit documentation
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial accuracy
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and software utilization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations (Maryland experience a plus)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
