Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ provider accounts
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with medical coding teams for accurate charge entry
- Generate monthly revenue reports and financial forecasts
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance in billing documentation
- Train junior staff on billing system protocols
- Optimize A/R aging through strategic follow-up processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in Epic and Meditech EHR systems
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines
- Proven track record in reducing claim denial rates
- Strong analytical skills with Excel proficiency
