Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies with high accuracy.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements to internal controls and financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and forecasting support.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely vendor payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
