Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Process payroll and ensure timely disbursement to employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
