- Reconcile complex insurance accounts and resolve payment discrepancies exceeding $50K
- Collaborate with coding and collections teams to maintain 98% clean claim ratio
- Generate monthly billing reports for executive leadership with actionable insights
- Train junior staff on billing compliance and HIPAA regulations
- Conduct quarterly audits to ensure adherence to billing standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS-1500 forms
- Proficiency in billing software (Epic, Meditech) and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Demonstrated ability to reduce A/R days by 15%+
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
