Responsibilities
- Process and post invoices accurately and timely to ensure timely client payments.
- Review billing statements for errors and resolve discrepancies with internal departments and clients.
- Manage the accounts receivable aging report and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes related to billing.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
- Maintain accurate billing records and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is required.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
