Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) ledgers.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all billing documents.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of billing cycles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
