- Process and submit insurance claims with 99.2% accuracy rate
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through insurance carrier negotiations
- Conduct patient billing audits and compliance reviews
- Implement CPT/ICD-10 coding updates for 15+ specialties
- Lead month-end closing procedures for 500+ claims
- Mentor junior billing staff on revenue cycle workflows
- Generate executive dashboards showing AR aging and denial trends
Qualifications
- 5+ years medical billing experience with commercial payers
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and Athena billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Proven track record reducing denial rates by 25%+
- Strong analytical skills with Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines in fast-paced environment
