Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 150+ healthcare providers using Epic EMR systems
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials with 95%+ accuracy rate
- Analyze aging reports to implement strategic AR reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance
- Conduct quarterly billing audits and process improvement reviews
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and compliance standards
- Interface with insurance carriers to resolve payment discrepancies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Expertise in Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing
- Proficient in Epic Resolute and NextGen billing platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table mastery
- Strong analytical skills with revenue cycle management experience
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with HIPAA and compliance regulations
