Responsibilities

- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous research and documentation
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify insurance eligibility and coverage
- Generate monthly revenue reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system utilization
- Conduct quarterly audits to maintain billing accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with insurance verification
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials preferred
- Expertise in Epic or Meditech EMR systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Excellent communication for resolving payer disputes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software
- Knowledge of Oklahoma Medicaid and Medicare guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
