- Process and reconcile complex invoices across multiple departments
- Resolve billing discrepancies through detailed account analysis
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure contract terms are accurately reflected in billing
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency
- Train junior billing staff on system protocols
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical or professional services billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Cerner, or similar billing systems
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts with minimal errors
