Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for healthcare clients using Epic and Meditech systems
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through meticulous account analysis
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and maximize reimbursements
- Generate monthly revenue reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation and communications
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding expertise
- Proficiency in billing software (Epic, Meditech, or similar EHR systems)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- BS in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
