- Resolve billing discrepancies through proactive payer communications
- Implement revenue cycle optimization strategies using Epic EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and Florida Medicaid regulations
- Lead month-end closing procedures for assigned client portfolios
- Mentor junior billing staff on best practices and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in CPT/HCPCS coding and ICD-10 diagnostic coding
- Proficient in Epic Resolute and claims management platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Demonstrated success in reducing AR days by 15%+
- Advanced knowledge of Florida Medicaid and Medicare guidelines
