Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Research and resolve claim denials within SLA timelines
- Post payments and adjustments in EHR systems daily
- Conduct patient billing inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance in all billing activities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding documentation
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Proficiency with Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong analytical skills for identifying billing trends
- Ability to manage high-volume claim processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BS in Healthcare Administration or related field required
