Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle for 500+ provider accounts
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials within 48 hours
- Analyze billing discrepancies using Cerner and Epic systems
- Train junior staff on compliance protocols (HIPAA/FMLA)
- Generate monthly AR reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with collections department on aged receivables
- Implement process improvements reducing claim rejection rates
Qualifications
- 5+ years medical billing experience in Florida market
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Advanced proficiency in NextGen and Athenahealth platforms
- Demonstrated reduction in days outstanding by 30%+
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare Advantage billing
- Strong analytical skills with Power BI reporting experience
