- Conduct monthly revenue cycle audits and variance analysis
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document accurate charge capture
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant billing documentation systems
- Train junior staff on billing best practices and software proficiency
- Develop quarterly reports for executive leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software (e.g., Athenahealth)
- Demonstrated knowledge of CMS 1500 forms and UB-04 submissions
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for claim resolution
- Strong written communication for patient correspondence
