- Manage patient billing inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts receivable daily and identify aging trends
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify insurance coverage
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership review
- Train staff on billing software updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in healthcare
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in Epic and NextGen billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to meet monthly KPIs for claim submission
