Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes for 200+ providers using Epic EMR systems
- Resolve claim denials and A/R aging through proactive follow-up with insurance carriers
- Oversee charge entry, coding compliance (ICD-10/CPT), and claim submission accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and regulatory requirements (HIPAA/UB-04)
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation supports billing compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Medisoft platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Expert knowledge of Nevada Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations
- Proven ability to reduce claim denial rates below national average
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex coding scenarios
- Experience managing high-volume billing operations (500+ claims/month)
