Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for insurance and private pay clients
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account issues within SLAs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports and aging reports weekly
- Train junior staff on billing software and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with insurance companies on claim denials appeals
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance analytics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proficient with Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR platforms
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) required
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
