Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate insurance claims and invoices
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account reconciliations
- Communicate with clients and payers regarding payment issues
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS)
- Generate monthly financial reports and analytics dashboards
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue accounts
- Update billing systems and ensure data integrity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or commercial billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
